Description:

Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire (ポケモンボックス ルビー&サファイ) is a Nintendo Gamecube title that allows players of the Game Boy Advance games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire to search, sort and handle other management functions to organize and display the Pokémon they've collected. Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire was first released in Japan on May 30, 2003 and sold for 2000 Yen without the link cable or 2800 Yen with the GBA link cable. A special edition Ruby and Sapphire Memory Card 59 is included with both versions.



Pokémon Box also features an emulator so that players can play Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire on their big screen television similar to the Pokémon Stadium games feature.

Story/Information:

The main host of Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire is Brigette (アズサ) who is a computer technician and one of the creators of the mass storage system which hosts the Pokémon. Players can deposit their Pokémon in boxes to free up space on their Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire carts and go capture more Pokémon.

Players can display their Pokémon using the Showcase option from the main menu in Brigette's Room. Players can choose different backgrounds and music and is a view only mode. Pokémon stats can be view from a separate option.

Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire has a total of 25 storage boxes for players Pokémon. Each box can contain a total of 60 Pokémon for an overall total of 1500 stored Pokémon.

Features:

  • Note: Players need a Game Boy Advance system, Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire, Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable and Nintendo GameCube system to use Pokémon Box.
  • Note: Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire is not compatible with the Memory Card 251.
  • Use the Gamecube-Game Boy Advance Link Cable to transfer Pokémon from your Game Boy Advance Pokémon games - Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire.
  • Pokémon Box can be used as an emulator to play Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire on the television instead of the Game Boy Advance.
  • Save up to 1,500 Pokémon to a special Memory Card.
