The Pokémon Company International announced on November 1st, 2024 that the Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions TCG expansion set would be released on January 17th, 2025. High resolution images from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread.

New Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions Expansion Spotlights Eevee and Its Evolutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex

Nov. 1, 2024 — The Pokémon Company International announced today that a new expansion for the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, will be available beginning Jan. 17, 2025, at participating retailers worldwide, including Pokémon Center, the premier online destination for official Pokémon merchandise.

In Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, players can look forward to collecting and playing with cards featuring Eevee and its eight Evolutions, all appearing as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. In celebration of Eevee and its Evolutions, Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions will be available in Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections that include accessories and items featuring these fan-favorite Pokémon.

Players can also enjoy discovering unique special illustration rare cards featuring a variety of stunning art styles and effects. In addition, two sets of premium parallel cards will appear in Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions, featuring either a Poké Ball or Master Ball etched in the card background.

Noteworthy cards from the expansion include:

  • Six ACE SPEC Trainer cards
  • 10 Pokémon ex and 15 Tera Pokémon ex
  • 12 ultra rare Supporter cards
  • 32 special illustration rare Pokémon ex and Supporter cards
  • Five hyper rare gold etched Pokémon ex cards

Players can unlock new Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions cards at no cost via the Battle Pass and test their skills on the rebalanced Ranked Ladder.
