The official Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon anime website has announced that there will be a Pokémon booth at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair Winter 2019. Some of the voice actors from Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon will be in attendance for a Pokémon Anime Special Live and Talk Stage (ポケモンアニメスペシャルライブ＆トークステージ) event at the booth. There will be special theme song performances by Rica Matsumoto and Okazaki Taiiku. A limited Next Generation World Hobby Fair Sun and Moon multi-stand will also be distributed.

Furthermore, the cast of Pokénchi will be in attendance at the booth on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall location in Tokyo.

The codes can be redeemed from November 9th, 2018 until December 1st, 2018 at 15:59pm Taiwan Standard Time.

Get Pikachu Wearing Ash’s Hats

Pokémon Trainers can get five different Pikachu wearing hats based on those Ash has worn in Pokémon the Series.

Ash Ketchum and Pikachu have been traveling together for over 20 years in Pokémon the Series. To commemorate their many adventures, we're giving Trainers the opportunity to receive five different Pikachu in their Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

These Pikachu are unique—each one wears a hat that Ash wore in one of the regions the famous duo has explored. In addition to sporting one of Ash's trademark hats, each Pikachu is also equipped with a set of moves inspired by the attacks Ash's partner would frequently use in that region.

To get these Pikachu in your game, you will need to enter their respective passwords between November 9 and November 30, 2018. Look below for instructions to bring these Pikachu into your game and for the basic stats and password for each of the five Pikachu.

To get Pikachu via a password:

1. Open your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
3. Select Receive Gift.
4. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
5. Enter one of the passwords listed below.
6. Watch as Pikachu arrives in your game.
7. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Pikachu.
8. Repeat steps 2–8 to receive the other Pikachu.
9. Be sure to save your game.

Takara TOMY has announced that they will be releasing new Z-Power Rings in Japan on October 27th, 2018. The Z-Power Ring is the new item Satoshi is wearing in the Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon anime. Wearers of the Z-Power ring can turn on the Trainer Mode and enjoy sounds, lights and vibrations while performing Z-Move movements. The 5th time in a row this is performed, Satoshi's voice can be heard calling for Pikachu to use the move 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt (１０００まんボルト).

Special Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon TV Anime Talk Events Commemorating the Time Slot Change

The Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon TV anime will be switching its timeslot to Sundays at 6pm starting Sunday October 7th 2018. Special talk events will be held in commemoration of this, featuring voice actors, the director, the people in charge of the anime's character design, and more.

The events will be held at the Pokémon Center Yokohama on Sunday October 7th and at Toki-no-hiroba Plaza on the 5th floor of Osaka Station City, the site of the Pokémon Center Osaka on Sunday October 21st. These events will be filled with information you won't get to see or hear anywhere else! Not only that, but we're also planning to have the guests do live commentary to the anime episode airing that day! We'll also take the kind of requests you can only do at a live event, have a live painting session, and give away special gifts you're only eligible for winning if you're watching the event. The event will also be streamed for free via Twitter, so we'll be waiting for your tweets with requests for the hosts and your comments on the anime!
