A recent scan has revealed a number of upcoming events for the Pocket Monsters Best Wishes anime series. Both Best Wishes and Pokémon Smash will receive new ending themes as they both currently have Can You Say the Pokémon? BW as their endings.


The episode set to air January 19th, 2012, Best Wishes episode 65 - Link Trade Evolution! Chevargo and Agilder!! will involve Bel trading her Chobomaki for Professor Araragi's Kaburumo, and the evolution that occurs afterwards.

The episode set to air January 25th, 2012, Best Wishes episode 66 - The Ruins of the Dark Hero! Symboler and Deathkarn!! will involve the group encountering Professor Araragi's father, and joining him on the exploration of a temple connected to the legendary Pokémon Zekrom and the mysterious Dark Stone.

Finally, the episode set to air February 2nd, 2012, which title is as of yet unrevealed, will feature the return of the Sunglasses Waruvile, who was last seen in Best Wishes episode 20 - Pikachu VS Meguroco VS Koaruhie!!, but which is known to have been involved in Best Wishes episode 23 - The Rocket Gang VS the Plasma Gang! (Part 1), and possibly Best Wishes episode 24 - The Rocket Gang VS the Plasma Gang! (Part 2).


In addition to that, the Pokémon Smash episodes set to air December 18th, 2011, Pokémon Smash episode 63 - Entei Akiyama is Knocked Down when Debuting the Expansion Pack 'Dark Rush'!? / A New Battrio Leader Enters!? / The Newest Pokémon Movie Information! and December 25th, 2011, Pokémon Smash episode 64 - The PokéSma Members Compete in Making Original Pokémon New Years' Meals! / The Girls Band Stereopony, who will be Singing the New 'Pokémon Smash!' Ending Theme Starting January, Visits! will be airing one special anime episode each, which they said specifically they would not be announcing in advance.

TV Tokyo has since updated their program post entry, confirming the Pokémon Library episode that will air during Pokémon Smash 63 to be this week's Best Wishes 61 - Tornelos VS Voltolos VS Landlos! (Part 1) (トルネロスVSボルトロスVSランドロス！（前編）.

Nintendo Europe has announced that PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond will be released in Europe in March of 2012. It is unclear why the game received a name change a from the Japanese title which is in English; PokéPark 2 Beyond the World (ポケパーク2 ビヨンド・ザ・ワールド). Nintendo of America later announced that the game would be released on February 27th, 2012 in North America. No announcement for Australia or other regions was made.

Movie 15 Release Date

A scan from the latest CoroCoro magazine has revealed the theatrical release date for the 15th Pocket Monsters movie Kyurem VS the Sacred Swordsman (キュレムVS聖剣士). The movie will be released in Japanese theaters on July 14th, 2012.

Pokémon Dream World Vote Results

The Japanese variety show Oha Suta hosted by Pokémon alumni Kōichi Yamadera announced the teaser title for the 15th Pocket Monsters. Kyurem VS the Sacred Swordsman (キュレムVS聖剣士) will debut in Japanese theaters during the summer of 2012. The full title should be "Kyurem VS the Sacred Swordsman Keldeo" (キュレムVS聖剣士 ケルディオ) but it won't be confirmed till the new year. A brief teaser trailer was shown on Oha Suta and the official Japanese movie site had a small update to show the movie logo but it will have more significant updates on December 17th, 2011, the day after the 14th Pocket Monsters movies are released in Japan on Bluray and DVD.

With the debut of Pokémon The Movie White Victini and Zekrom in theaters last weekend, Pokémon The Movie Black Victini and Reshiram will be making its English dub debut on Cartoon Network in the United States. Below is the press release from the official Pokémon website.

For player of the Japanese and Korean Pokémon Black and White, the final Deerling C-Gear form has been released. The Winter Form Deerling will be available on the Japanese and Korean Pokémon Global Link from December 1st, 2011 until January 6th, 2012. No password is required as it is automatically unlocked. Pokémon Global Link Dream World Expansions

Japan will be receiving the Japanese Winter Decor items on the Pokémon Global Link Dream World which is currently available in most regions of the world. It will be on the Japanese Dream World from December 7th, 2011 until January 3rd, 2012. Korea will also be getting the "Pokémon Movie" Dream World expansion (포켓몬 영화) to promote the release of the 14th movies there. The expansion was previously only available on the Japanese Dream World. The expansion will be available on the Korean Dream World for a limited time starting on December 14th, 2011.

Lucario Japanese Pokémon Global Link Dream World Event Download

Famitsu has announced that they will be releasing a password on December 22nd, 2011 in the magazine Weekly Famitsu to unlock a Lucario on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link Dream World. Lucario is Level 10 and knows the Ability Justified. It knows the special move: Bullet Punch. Further details were not announced.

Korean Reshiram and Zekrom Movie Event Downloads

The official Korean Pokémon Website has also announced that in addition to the Victini that is being distributed, Reshiram and Zekrom will also be distributed from December 22, 2011 until February 2nd, 2012 to promote Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom. Players require the Korean version of Pokémon Black and White to download them and they will be transferred by local DS Wi-Fi at participating theaters.

Movie 14 Ending Theme for Korea

The Korean version of Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (비크티니와 흑의 영웅 제크로무 / 비크티니와 백의 영웅 레시라무) received a trailer debuting the ending theme 'Miracle' (기적) sung by Whale (웨일) from the group W&Whale. An ad for a set of DS stylus's has been released and it states that they are official Pokémon 2012 Movie merchandise. Five Pokémon are featured and one is yet to be announced. The Pokémon featured on the stylus are: Kyurem, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion and Pikachu. This indicates that these Pokémon will be featured in the next movie to be released in Japan in the summer of 2012.

A new website dedicated to the dubbed release of Pokémon The Movie White Victini and Zekrom / Pokémon The Movie Black Victini and Reshiram is now available at http://www.pokemonthemovie.com/.
