The latest episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 46 - Beware of Choroneko! Nyarth and Mijumaru!! (チョロネコに御用心！ニャースとミジュマル！！) aired on Thursday in Japan.
Satoshi and friends along with Rocket Gang Nyarth are traveling to Raimon City where Satoshi will compete for his 4th badge in the Isshu region. While walking, a Choroneko bumps into them who is being chased by a flock of Hatoboh. Why is it being chased!?

The latest episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 45 - Nyagotiator Nyarth! Operation: Persuade Zuruzukin!! (ニャゴシエーター・ニャース！ズルズキン説得作戦!!) aired on Thursday in Japan.
Satoshi and friends find Rocket Gang Nyarth injured behind a bush. Nursing it back to health, Nyarth decides to travel with them when suddenly Kibago is kidnapped! Will Nyarth be able to negotiate Kibago's safe return!?

Poland Pokémon Day Celebi - Zoroark DVD
Nintendo Poland in association with our affiliate Pokémon Valhalla have announced that a Pokémon Day event has been announced for Warsaw, Poland on August 20th, 2011. A special Celebi will be distributed at the event, there will be a Pokémon Video Game tournament and an art contest.
Also announced was the Polish television debut and DVD release of the 13th Pokémon movie, Pokémon Zoroark: Mistrz Iluzji. The movie will air on August 27th, 2011 on Disney XD Poland and then the DVD will be released on September 22nd, 2011. This will be one of the only Polish Pokémon DVD's ever released and will also feature Russian and English audio.

Już w sobotę 20 sierpnia wszyscy miłośnicy Pokemonów będą mieli okazję spotkać się z innymi fanami w pubie Merlin w Warszawie na Polu Mokotowskim, powymieniać tam swoimi stworkami i powalczyć między sobą podczas specjalnej imprezy organizowanej przez Pokemon Valhallę pod patronatem Nintendo Polska w związku z premierą filmu Zoroark: Mistrz Iluzji na antenie Disney XD. W trakcie jej trwania przeprowadzone zostaną konkursy z nagrodami, a główną atrakcją tego dnia będzie możliwość pobrania specjalnego Celebi na jedną z gier czwartej generacji (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold lub SoulSilver). Pokemon ten jest nie tylko kolejnym wpisem w Pokedeksie i świetną pomocą w bitwach, ale może także posłużyć do odblokowania specjalnych wydarzeń - w HeartGold oraz SoulSilver można dzięki niemu cofnąć się w czasie i spotkać tajemniczego Giovanniego, z kolei po przesłaniu do gry Black lub White pomaga zaprzyjaźnić się z małym Zoruą. Celebi i Zorua dadzą się bliżej poznać podczas premiery telewizyjnej filmu, która odbędzie się zaledwie tydzień po Dniu Pokemonów, 27 sierpnia o 8:05 i 15:15.Ponieważ jest to pierwsze wydarzenie tego typu w Polsce, a chcielibyśmy się do niego dobrze przygotować, prosimy wszystkich, którzy są pewni lub niemal pewni swojej obecności na Dniu Pokemonów o wpisanie się do specjalnego formularza. TV Tokyo has posted the There's Still Time! A Grand Showcase of the Pokémon Movies' Appeal Special! (今からでも間に合う！『ポケモン映画』の魅力大公開ＳＰ！) on its YouTube channel. The special aired on TV Tokyo on August 13th, 2011. The show contains spoilers from the latest movies Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム / ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム). The show is hosted by Yoshio Kojima (小島よしお) who dresses up as Satoshi and Pikachu. Yoshio Kojima was seen in the Pokémon Sunday 273 (ポケモン☆サンデー #273) card battle. Below is the special.

Ticket sales for the latest Pocket Monsters movies Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム / ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム) reached 3 million on August 14th, 2011. The movies dropped to 5th place in box office sales in their 5th week according to eiga.com's ranking.
SKE48 members Seira Satō (佐藤聖羅), Akane Takayanagi (高柳明音) and Anna Ishida (石田安奈) were on-hand at a special presentation at TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Bay City location. In commemoration of 3 million ticket sales, a Victini and Pikachu made of macarons was unveiled. They contained 5053 macarons and it took 15 staff members from 8am the day before to finish them from foundations they started work on three weeks earlier. Below are a few pictures from the event.

Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 44
The latest episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 44 - The Decisive Don Battle! Satoshi VS Iris!! (決戦ドンバトル！サトシ対アイリス!!) aired on Thursday in Japan.
The final round of the Don Battles arrives and Satoshi faces off against Iris. Who will become the tournament champion?!

Magna Pacific has released information about their latest Pokémon DVD and Blu-ray's to be released later this year. Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom were originally scheduled for release on November 30th, 2011 however they are having difficulties receiving the masters in time for that release date and had to delay the release. The releases are now likely to be January 2012, however a Magna Home Entertainment representative has informed us that the new release date has yet to be confirmed. The movies will be released individually on Blu-ray and DVD.
Scheduled for release in Australia by Magna Pacific on September 14th, 2011 are: Pokémon All-Stars: Totodile, Pokémon All-Stars: Cyndaquil, Pokémon All-Stars: Chikorita and the Kanto & Orange Islands Collection.

ANA8 Pikachu's Summer Bridge Story Announced
All Nippon Airways has announced the latest Pocket Monsters short Pikachu's Summer Bridge Story (ピカチュウのサマー・ブリッジ・ストーリー) will air on selected flights from August 1st, 2011 until August 29th, 2011. Last years ANA short was released on DVD last week. Below is the summary for the short.
Summary English
Pikachu and friends visit a town with a huge draw bridge, but problems arise when they come across Oshawatt and Tepig, who have eaten the fruits that Gothita and Darumaka had collected. They head off to collect fruits from the forest across the bridge, but then Meowth appears and tries to steal the fruits. On top of that, the bridge is raised, blocking their passage. What will Pikachu do? The fight for the fruits begins!!Summary Japanese
