Carrie is one of the gym trainers in the Anistar Gym and also one of Olympia's higher trained students alongside Sheryl.

The Forewarning

Carrie was first seen observing Olympia's vision about the future of the Kalos region and having been unsettled about the prediction, she rushes off before Olympia can explain what it meant. As Professor Sycamore arrived at the Anistar Sundial, she hastily asked him what he was up to and begun to attack them with her Sigilyph, destroying their research equipment.

Ash vs Carrie

When Ash Ketchum and the rest of the group arrived to see what was going on, she was shocked at his arival and sent out her Sableye to attack them with Power Gem. She was then involved in a double battle with Ash and was easily defeated. Once defeated, she attempted to send out a third, unknown Pokémon however she was stopped by Olympia's Meowstic, who gave the PokéBall to Olympia. She was then reprimanded for her actions and was made to apologize to both Sycamore and Ash for the trouble she caused.
