Wicke is an member of the Aether Foundation where she is in charge of their Pokémon conservation efforts. She helped measured abnormally high amounts of Ultra Aura in the vicinity of the Altar of the Sunne at Poni Island the night that Ash Ketchum had his Nebby dream. When she came to meet Ash Ketchum and Nebby, she told them that they had a wide variety of Pokémon conservation facilities and that Ash could safely entrust the Cosmog to them but he explained that he'd made a promise to look after the Cosmog.
