The first of 5 volumes in the Pocket Monsters Gold & Silver TV Anime DVD releases. The disc features the first 4 episodes of the Gold & Silver anime in it's original Japanese form. This is also the first release ever for the TV Anime onto DVD in Japan.

Each volume contains the complete video, with the exception of Sponsor & Jikai cards being removed.
