A Pikachu Festival (ピカチュウまつり) will be held at the Tohoku Pokémon Center from March 23rd, 2012 until April 8th, 2012. There will be various activities at the festival all related to Pikachu such as Papercraft and bingo. A Pikachu will also be distributed at the event to players of the Japanese version of Pokémon Black and White. In addition, those who purchase items at the Pokémon Center are also given a Pikachu Promo TCG card which was also given out on December 4th, 2011 to celebrate the opening of the Pokémon Center.

The details of The Strongest Pikachu are as follows:

Ribbon: Classic Ribbon
Ability: Static
Held Item: Light Ball
Attack 1: Thunder
Attack 2: Volt Tackle
Attack 3: Grass Knot
Attack 4: Quick Attack

JR Sendai will also be holding a Pokémon Stamp Rally from March 23rd, 2012 until April 8th, 2012 where participants are asked to get 5 Pokémon stamps from different stations and present them at the Tohoku Pokémon Center to receive a memo pad and sun visor. While at the Tohoku Pokémon Center, rally participants can also get the Pikachu event download.

A Pikachu with a Grass attack? Well, now that's weird... though quite handy against Ground type Pokémon. Too bad there's 0 chance we'll get outside Japan.

And too bad Dent is nothing more than an anime character... I bet he'd love to take part in that Stamp Rally ;)
Too bad they already aired the Subway Stamp Rally episode, would have been a cool tie-in with that event.

They generally seem to have some kind of Pokemon Stamp Rally yearly but unfortunately the timing of when BW53 originally aired kinda made it hard for them to line it up.
