Ranked Damage Event Details

The Ranked Damage Event is an event where you attempt to obtain a score across three battles to earn rewards. Sync Pairs that have completed one of the battles will not be able to participate in any other battle unless that battle is reset. Earn the highest score you can within the time limit!

Date/Time

January 23, 2025 at 10:00 p.m. - February 1, 2025 at 9:59 p.m.

How to Obtain a Score

Your score is equal to the amount of damage you inflict on your opponent during battle. Choose Sync Pairs that can exploit your opponent’s weaknesses, then use powerful moves and inflict status conditions in order to deal as much damage as possible!

Note: Due to Not Super Effective: Zero Damage, attacks other than supereffective attacks will inflict zero damage.
Note: Not Super Effective: Zero Damage cannot be ignored by moves or Passive Skills that have the “Ignores the target’s Passive Skills that would reduce the damage of attacks” effect.
Note: Except in certain circumstances, damage incurred from sources other than attacks, such as poison, will not be reduced to zero.

Score Rank

You will receive a Score Rank based on your score. Your Score Rank is divided into the 15 ranks listed below. Form your lineup to maximize your effectiveness in battle and earn the best Score Rank possible!

1★ Youngster: 0-99,999
2★ Youngster: 100,000-199,999
3★ Youngster: 200,000-299,999
1★ Ace Trainer: 300,000-399,999
2★ Ace Trainer: 400,000-499,999
3★ Ace Trainer: 500,000-599,999
1★ Brock: 600,000-649,999
2★ Brock: 650,000-699,999
3★ Brock: 700,000-749,999
1★ Rika: 750,000-799,999
2★ Rika: 800,000-849,999
3★ Rika: 850,000-899,999
1★ Leon: 900,000-949,999
2★ Leon: 950,000-999,999
3★ Leon: 1,000,000 and above

Training Ticket Exchange

The Training Tickets obtainable as event rewards can be used in the Training Ticket Exchange. It includes special Sync Pairs that can only be obtained in the Training Ticket Exchange, as well as Co-op Sync Orbs. The Training Ticket Exchange can be found in the Event tab of the Exchange Items menu.

About the Time Limit

There is a time limit for Ranked Damage Event battles. Continue fighting until time runs out in order to win the battle and earn a score based on your performance. If you are eliminated before time runs out, you will lose the battle and be unable to earn a score.

Additional Special Parameters

Special rules such as “Reduces the damage allies deal with Sync Moves and Max Moves” will be set for each battle. Some battles do not have special rules.

About Rankings

Once you complete all of the battles, your Best Score, which is your total score from all battles, will be recorded. The ranking feature will be unlocked when your Best Score has been recorded. The rankings allow you to compare your current Best Score against other players participating in the event.

Your rank changes according to your place in the rankings, and if you are within the top 10,000 spots, you will reach Master Rank. You will acquire a Title based on your place in the rankings, and you will receive all of the Titles that are below the one you earned.

Note: If your total score after completing all of the battles exceeds your current Best Score, your Best Score will be updated.

The Pokémon Sleep report for the 18th Good Sleep Day Event has been announced and the average sleep duration of researchers around the world was 17 sec. shorter than average.

Sleep Report: Good Sleep Day #18

How was your sleep research during the three-day Good Sleep Day event?

Our sleep tends to be shorter and shallower during the full moon. Just as this commonly accepted view may lead us to expect, we found that on the night of the full moon during this Good Sleep Day event, the average sleep duration of all you researchers around the world was 17 sec. shorter than average.

Let’s all do our best to sleep longer on the next night of the full moon! The next Good Sleep Day event will be held from 2/11 to 2/13.

This Month’s Sleep Tips

Here’s this month’s sleep tip! We hope all you researchers find this useful for your daily sleep. Do We Have to Roll Over?

Staying in the same position the whole time we’re asleep can put strain on our bodies. Rolling over helps lighten that strain and improves our sleep quality. When we sleep comfortably, we don’t roll over too often. If we sleep on bedding that’s too soft or too hard for our bodies, we roll over more often to reduce the strain.

If you find yourself turning over too often or waking up repeatedly, it may be a good idea to examine if your pillow and mattress are right for your body.

Attention Trainers! There are new adjustments to matchmaking in Season 25 of Ranked Matches in Pokémon UNITE!

Matchmaking Based on Master Rank Ratings

In the previous series (Series 24), we made changes to the matchmaking system and the values for increases and decreases in Master Rank ratings. For more details, please check HERE.

After analyzing the subsequent matchmaking data, we found that 80% of matches had an average Master Rank rating difference of 25 or less between teams, while 88% of matches had a difference of 50 or less. This indicates that most matches are occurring between players of similar rating ranges. We will continue to closely monitor this data.

Adjustments to Master Rank Rating Changes

As mentioned in a previous notice, changes to Master Rank ratings due to wins and losses are determined by the Base Value, which is based on the player's rating, plus a Variable Value that considers the difference between the average rating of your team and the opposing team.

However, within a specific rating range (Master Rank Rating 1400–1599), the Variable Value unfairly made it harder for players with higher ratings within their team to increase their Master Rank ratings as expected.

To address this issue, we have revised the formula for calculating the Variable Value in the current series (Series 25) to reduce the likelihood of such situations occurring.

We believe there is still room for improvement in the matchmaking system. To gather more player feedback, we plan to conduct a survey in the near future and would greatly appreciate your cooperation.

We will continue working to meet your expectations and improve the game.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Pokémon Unite.
