Aiming to become the greatest in Isshu, Satoshi finally challenges the Isshu League! His opponent in the first round is... his fated rival Shootie!? Going up against the overwhelmingly powerful Jalorda, Satoshi decides to...?

Summary:
At long last, Satoshi and friends arrive in Higaki City, where the Isshu League will be held. There, they meet Bel, Kenyan, Shootie and Virgil again. Having safely registered for the tournament, they all head back to their respective dorms, when they spot a tent in a little clump of trees. It turns out Kotetsu and Riolu had been waiting there for 3 days now, in order to make sure they wouldn't be late this time.

As the group listen to his story, however, it become clear he hasn't actually registered for the tournament. A panicking Satoshi rushes off back to the registry station with Kotetsu in tow, as the announcement proclaiming registration to have ended sounds. Will they make it in time!? And then, the Preliminaries finally begin. Another fated showdown begins, as Satoshi's opponent are Shootie and Jalorda! The Pokémon Satoshi chooses to oppose Jalorda is...!?
