Like before, each magazine will select one main winner each, all 10 of which will have their entry shown during the movie's ending credits. These winners will also receive a Pikachu Yellow Nintendo 3DSLL. In addition, each magazine will select an additional 5 winners each who will receive a Pokémon Tretta Collection Briefcase and a Tretta Report, as well as an additional 100 winners each who will receive 4 booster packs from the upcoming Pokémon Card Game expansion Megalo Cannon.

New this year is the addition of a special Grand Prize. Out of the 10 main winners, a single entrant will be selected to receive a very special prize: A role in the movie itself, dubbing a side character.

In addition to this, Pokémon Smash will be hosting its own "Director Shoko-tan Awards". Out of the various entrants, Shoko Nakagawa will select her personal favorite pictures - one from the magazines using the Genesect picture, and one from the magazines using the Eievui picture. These two winners will each receive a drawing of the Eievui Friends custom-made by Nakagawa herself (The winner of the Grand Prize is not eligible for these awards).
