DeNA has announced that the Villain Event Spreading Shadows will take place from September 29th, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. until October 15th, 2021 at 10:59 p.m. and that the Sygna Suit Misty Spotlight Scout will also take place during the same time period.

Villain Event Spreading Shadows

Villain Event: Spreading Shadows under way! You can collect Mewtwo Crystals to give Giovanni & Mewtwo a power boost!

Giovanni & Mewtwo Power Boost

You can collect Mewtwo Crystals during this event and exchange them for items to give Giovanni & Mewtwo a power boost!

After Giovanni & Mewtwo have received this power boost, Mewtwo will Mega Evolve after using its Sync Move.

Once Mewtwo has Mega Evolved, its stats will be raised and Confusion will change to Psystrike.

Note: If you have not teamed up with Giovanni & Mewtwo, you will be unable to use Mewtwo Crystals to give Giovanni & Mewtwo this power boost.
Note: The power boost can’t be undone once completed.

Strength Bonus

In the Villain Event: Spreading Shadows, Sync Pairs with the specified region Theme will receive Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def bonuses.

The strength bonus will increase with the difficulty level.

Note: If multiple Themes apply to the same Sync Pair, the larger bonus will take effect. (These bonuses do not stack.)
Note: This event does not feature any lineup bonuses.

Event Medals

Event medals are awarded for meeting certain conditions in event missions. You can try to obtain all of the event medals!

Exchanging Items

Item exchanges are currently available in conjunction with Villain Event: Spreading Shadows. The Exchange Items menu has several useful items, such as Support Move Candy Coins and 5★ Kanto Scout Tickets.

You can take on special missions during the event period. Check the Missions screen to learn more!
Note: You will receive a special story when you complete the designated Mission.
Note: You can earn Mission completion rewards for completing the Missions the designated number of times.

• When the exchange period for the vouchers obtained in this event ends, leftover vouchers will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to your Present Box.
• When the event ends, leftover Mewtwo Crystals will be converted into coins (10 coins each) and sent to your Present Box.
• To attempt missions, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• If you have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player during the mission period, you will have fulfilled the conditions for the missions leading up to it and can claim your rewards.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• To claim log-in bonuses, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• Log-in bonuses are sent to your Present Box.
• Log-in bonuses can only be claimed during the specified time period.
• Log-in bonuses sent to the Present Box can only be claimed for a limited period of time.
• Log-in bonuses can only be claimed once per day.
• Up to 14 log-in bonuses can be claimed.
• Log-in bonuses are reset each day at 11:00 p.m.
