He was known for his roles as the voices of Hajime Kindaichi in Kindaichi Case Files, Kōga in Inuyasha, Jun Banjome in Yu-Gi-Oh GX, and SpongeBob.
On June 27th, 2024, AONI PRO confirmed on their front page that he had died on June 26th, 2024 due to a right cerebral hemorrhage. In accordance with the wishes of his bereaved family, the wake and funeral ceremony were held only with immediate family members in attendance.
