Fukuoka, Japan and was married to fellow voice actor <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C5%8Dch%C5%AB_%C5%8Ctsuka">Hōchū Ōtsuka</a>. Pocket Monsters anime fans will recognize her as the voice of <a href="/characters/view/900">Kaneyo (カネヨ)</a>.
