Larry is both a Gym Leader and the third Elite Four Member of the Paldea Region, specifically for Medali. He specializes in the Normal type as a Gym Leader, and Flying type as an Elite Four member. Working for the Pokémon League as a businessman, he somehow got roped into the battling business under the orders of Geeta, the top-ranked champion. He doesn't want to be there, and mentions how he isn't allowed to work overtime anymore. The only thing that he seemingly enjoys is food at the Treasure Eatery, which is also his battlefield.
