For episode 58, I helped with the design of Liko and the others' bandanas and aprons.
I was also in charge of storyboarding and directing the animated portion of Professor Friede's Pokémon Seminar.

On July 12th, 2024, the official Japanese AniPoke Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was region locked to Japan only. It was available for 2 weeks from July 12th, 2024 to July 26th, 2024. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信). The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!

After their exhibition matches with the Paldea Elite Four, Liko and her friends next challenge is a practical application test with two Pokémon! Each of them will battle a Gym Leader in an assigned town! The difficulty is much higher than the previous training, but if they can overcome this, they should finally be able to master Terastallizing! Liko and her friends immediately head to Chanpuru Town for Dot's practical application test!

Chanpuru Town is the transportation hub of the Paldea Region! It is a town where many different people come and go, with numerous restaurants, and where the food culture developed!

Of the many restaurants to go to, Liko and her friends choose Anything And Everything Eatery. However, the inside of the restaurant is a bit empty, and it's hard to call it thriving...!?

▲ It seems that there is no customer because there is a popular restaurant called the "Treasure Eatery" nearby.


▲ This is the specialty menu item at the Anything And Everything Eatery. "Anything and Everything" is a dish topped with whatever the owner thinks is delicious! What is in it......?

Due to a certain mishap, Liko and her friends end up helping out at the Anything And Everything Eatery!!

そしてリコたちは、とある事情でナンデモ食堂のお手伝いをすることに!!
▲リコたちがお店を手伝うことになる「とある事情」をつくった張本人。カヌチャン、その手に持ったものは……なんかやっちゃいました？
▲ロイはドドゲザンといっしょに町へ出て、ナンデモ食堂の宣伝をすることに！
▲しかし町の人は気合十分に声掛けをするドドゲザンに驚いて、逃げるように去って行ってしまう。ドドゲザンはお店を手伝いたい一心のようだが……。

JEI TV and Pokémon Korea held the TV Anime Pokémon Terastal Debut Broadcast Commemoration 2024 Pokémon Drawing Contest (「TV 애니메이션 포켓몬스터」테라스탈 데뷔 방영 기념 - 2024 포켓몬 그림 콘테스트) where viewers of the anime could submit their art to win prizes such as a trophy, Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The results were announced on the official Pokémon Korea on November 26th, 2024. The artwork was also featured in the second variant of the Korean ending NCT WISH Make You Shine starting in PM2023 58 which aired in South Korea on the same day as the announcement on November 26th, 2024.

There was three different categories:
Junior Division (Kindergarten to Elementary School) 주니어 부문（유치-초등）
Senior Division (Middle and High School) 시니어 부문（중-고등）
Master Division (Adult) 마스터부문（성인）

There was three different templates that could be used to start the drawing: one with Captain Pikachu, one with the Paldean starter Pokémon, and one featuring Liko and Roy.

Contest Period: September 20th, 2024 until October 31st, 2024

Kyōko Itō retweeted a post by the official Japanese Anipoke Twitter account which was promoting a YouTube clip of the Let me battle feat. Muto ending variant and indicated that she had worked on the artwork that was used in the ending variant and as the main picture for the video on YouTube. The clip was region locked to Japan and was posted on July 12th, 2024.
