The Pokémon Sleep report for the 18th Good Sleep Day Event has been announced and the average sleep duration of researchers around the world was 17 sec. shorter than average.

Sleep Report: Good Sleep Day #18

How was your sleep research during the three-day Good Sleep Day event?

Our sleep tends to be shorter and shallower during the full moon. Just as this commonly accepted view may lead us to expect, we found that on the night of the full moon during this Good Sleep Day event, the average sleep duration of all you researchers around the world was 17 sec. shorter than average.

Let’s all do our best to sleep longer on the next night of the full moon! The next Good Sleep Day event will be held from 2/11 to 2/13.

This Month’s Sleep Tips

Here’s this month’s sleep tip! We hope all you researchers find this useful for your daily sleep. Do We Have to Roll Over?

Staying in the same position the whole time we’re asleep can put strain on our bodies. Rolling over helps lighten that strain and improves our sleep quality. When we sleep comfortably, we don’t roll over too often. If we sleep on bedding that’s too soft or too hard for our bodies, we roll over more often to reduce the strain.

If you find yourself turning over too often or waking up repeatedly, it may be a good idea to examine if your pillow and mattress are right for your body.
