The latest episode of Pokémon Sunday, Kireihana's Battle Dancing! / Robert Investigates 'Melee! Pokémon Scramble' / Pokémon HGSS Battle Lecture ( キレイハナのバトルダンシング！ ロバートが「乱戦！ポケモンスクランブル」を調査 ポケモンHGSSバトル講座), aired today in Japan.

In this weeks episode, Robert Investigates Melee! Pokémon Scramble (乱戦！ポケモンスクランブル). Akiyama dressed up as Hikozaru, Yamamoto dressed up as Pochama, and Baba dressed up as Naetle. Throughout the activity, the narrator showed scenes from the game related to what they were acting out.

The first round, a group of people dressed up as Pokémon showed up. Robert had to answer questions for each Pokémon in order to defeat them. For the boss stage, a Pikachu was defeated and joined the battle in the second round. In the second round, the Pokémon had items and Robert and friends had to make puns on given words or phrases to defeat them. The boss for the second stage was a Lucario. In the third and final stage, Battle Royal, the Strike Zone Man returned but this time he was dressed up as Darkrai for the final match. Once again, Robert had to make him laugh to defeat him, which they managed to do relatively easily.

The rerun serial "Pokémon Selection" continued the theme "The Happy Pokémon of the Jouto Region", with today's episode focusing on two Kireihana with the imaginative names Rei and Hana, whose trainer taught them a method of battling involving dance steps, which they would also use during exhibition performances.

During the Pokémon Game Arena segment, Shoko and Baba dressed up as scientists at Professor Okido's lab to discuss Pokémon type information found in the game manual. Akiyama and Yamamoto acted out some of the type differences like a water type Pokémon being strong against a fire type by throwing a bucket of water to demonstrate it putting out a lit candle Yamamoto was holding.
