Nintendo has announced that My Nintendo account holders can use their points towards discounts towards the purchase of a digital version of some Pokémon games or a Pokkén Tournament DX wallpaper.

The fact Nintendo wants to charge 50 PLATINUM points for this Pokkén Tournament DX wallpaper is just hilariously bad. It literally took me 30 seconds in Photoshop to make the wallpaper from the press release assets. The fact they are trying to charge anyone for this wallpaper which is basically just an ad for the game, is just plain stupid.
