You see, they're slowly but surely trying to rewrite the series to erase Misty's existence in it entirely.
The Japanese writers have already decided to never put her in another episode again, which is why she wasn't allowed to appear in DP but other popular characters like May and Gary were, and now they're trying to rewrite the older seasons to erase her existence in the show.

Funny though,no Johto filler arc in DP like AG's Battle Frontier.

What's next? The animators inserting Dawn into the episodes, and removing Misty?

NO. This has nothing to do with Dawn. Pokemon.com must've made another typo regarding to Misty (see also http://www.pocketmonsters.net/ib/threads/1390).
and yes there is a Johto filler arc in DP,it's just Dawn getting a Cyndaquil,introducing Lyra/Kotone and Pokethlons. Misty was in Johto OF COURSE, and the Orange Crew is yet another typo. and PLEASE lay off comments regarding Dawn replacing Misty or any anti-Dawn crap.
Those sorts of comments are annoying.
If you want moan about a Misty replacement take it out on Iris.
