Studio Colorido's new animation Wait here, Koiking! (まっててね！コイキング), was released on July 2nd, 2021 on the Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel! This film depicts the bond between a boy and his Pokémon at a Day Care facility that takes care of Pokémon. The animation features watercolor style with a silent story with only music, richly expressing emotions.

Following Iris and Shigeru, Hikari and Pochama from Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl will appear in the TV anime Pocket Monsters! It's been about 9 years since I've appeared in the series, so I was nervous about whether I could play Hikari again after such a long time, but during the recording, I had a great time interacting with my partner, Pochama, and felt at ease and happy.

In the PV video that was released, we see Darkrai, who activities are guided by something on the night of the new moon, and Crecelia lying wounded in the forest... The adventure of Satoshi and Go, Koharu and Hikari begins featuring these two Pokémon!

On the other hand, when Koharu's family trip for the summer vacation is cancelled, she decides to travel alone to the Sinnoh region with her partner Eievui, as it was the original destination for the trip. Eievui and Koharu are excited to be traveling alone for the first time, and head to Hakutai City, where a Pokémon contest is being held. On the way, Koharu meets Satoshi's former traveling companions, Hikari and Pochama!

When Satoshi and Go learn that people in a town in the Sinnoh Region were having nightmares and couldn't sleep, they suspected that Darkrai, a Pokémon with the Bad Dreams Ability was the cause, and headed to the area to investigate.

Pocket Monsters - Summer Special Episodes 2021
The TV animation series Pocket Monsters, which airs every Friday at 6:55 on TV Tokyo, has announced that it will air "Summer Special Episodes" set in the Sinnoh region for two weeks on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 and Friday July 30th, 2021.

In addition, Hikari and her partner Pokémon Pochama, will appear in Pocket Monsters for the first time in nine years since the Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl series! More than 50 types of Pokémon are hidden in two different courses. Up to six participants can take part at the same time. During about 90 minutes, you will search for Pokémon in three different areas. Except for the first area, each course can be explored by a single group.

Course 1: The Ancient Stone Wall (コース1 : 古代の石垣)

Discover the hidden Nazonokusa!

Follow the traces of the Pokémon.

Wading through the grass, looking for traces of Pokémon.

Read the clues carefully.
