Japan Post - Pokémon Mailboxes

In cooperation with The Pokémon Company, Japan Post will implement a variety of promotions, including the installation of Pokémon mailboxes in order to attract more people to letters and stamps. Pokémon is loved around the world.
With the full cooperation of the City of Yokohama, Pokémon original mailboxes will be installed at two locations in Yokohama.

PokéLids - Hokkaido - July 7th, 2021
On July 7th, 2021, seven new Pokémon Utility Hole Covers, or PokéLids (Pokéfuta ポケふた) were unveiled in front of the former Hokkaido Government's Red Brick Office Building. The seven new covers feature: Alolan Rokon, Rokon, Togekiss, Kiteruguma, Metamon and Wakashamo. They feature imagery drawn from the various landscapes of Hokkaido and will be installed in Hakodate, Otaru, Nemuro, Noboribetsu, Honbetsu, Rikubetsu, and Nakashibetsu. There are now a total of 26 PokéLids in Hokkaido, including the ones just announced. There is now 189 PokéLids revealed. Pictures from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread.

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) has a similar overall size to the Nintendo Switch system, but with a larger, vibrant 7-inch OLED screen with vivid colors and crisp contrast. Nintendo Switch (OLED model) also features a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port, 64GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio for handheld and tabletop play. Just like Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch (OLED model) allows players to play on the TV and share the detachable Joy-Con controllers for right-out-of-the-box multiplayer fun. Studio Colorido's new animation Wait here, Koiking! (まっててね！コイキング), was released on July 2nd, 2021 on the Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel! This film depicts the bond between a boy and his Pokémon at a Day Care facility that takes care of Pokémon. The animation features watercolor style with a silent story with only music, richly expressing emotions.

For those of you who are watching the Anipoke from just this series, this will be the first time seeing Hikari, but I hope you will come to love her cheerful sunny personality and her love for Pokémon. Her Pokémon partner, Pochama, is also very cute, so please look forward to the special summer episodes and see what kind of story it will be!

It's been about 9 years since I've appeared in the series, so I was nervous about whether I could play Hikari again after such a long time, but during the recording, I had a great time interacting with my partner, Pochama, and felt at ease and happy.

On the other hand, when Koharu's family trip for the summer vacation is cancelled, she decides to travel alone to the Sinnoh region with her partner Eievui, as it was the original destination for the trip. Eievui and Koharu are excited to be traveling alone for the first time, and head to Hakutai City, where a Pokémon contest is being held. On the way, Koharu meets Satoshi's former traveling companions, Hikari and Pochama!

The TV animation series Pocket Monsters, which airs every Friday at 6:55 on TV Tokyo, has announced that it will air "Summer Special Episodes" set in the Sinnoh region for two weeks on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 and Friday July 30th, 2021.
In addition, Hikari and her partner Pokémon Pochama, will appear in Pocket Monsters for the first time in nine years since the Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl series! A key visual poster featuring Hikari and Pochama and a PV video that foreshadows the story surrounding the phantom Pokémon Darkrai and the legendary Pokémon Crecelia were released today.
