Summary:

Smile is the third ending for Advanced Generation series and was also used again after Ippai Summer!! has its brief run. Satoshi and Pikachu are seen walking beside a lake at night with a trees and mountains in the background.

As they walk, a memories montage of Satoshi and his Pokémon play in a field of flowers as Satoshi watches them as he sits against the truck of a nearby tree. Pikachu jumps up on Satoshi's arm and he takes off his red had and puts it on Pikachu's head. Haruka joins fades in and joins Satoshi and Pikachu as her memory montage also fades in on the left side. The montage shows a sad Haruka curled up as her Pokémon surround her and attempt to cheer her up.

The ending transitions to Masato and Takeshi cooking dinner around a campfire as Takeshi's Pokémon look on. Takeshi stirs a pot as Masato and Takeshi fade in to join Satoshi, Pikachu and Haruka walking beside the lake.

Rocket Gang make an appearance on a multi-layered rock. Nyarth is seen at the bottom sleeping and it slowly scrolls up the rock until it gets to Sonansu at the top who is looking at the nights sky. The sun begins to rise between the mountains as the ending transitions to a final wallpaper of all the main characters and their Pokémon.
