The Rocket Gang Secret Empire:

The Rocket Gang Secret Empire (ロケット団ひみつ帝国) is a variety show hosted by Megumi Hayashibara (林原めぐみ), Shinichiro Miki (三木眞一郎), Inuko Inuyama (犬山イヌコ) acting in-character as Musashi, Kojiro and Nyarth. Each episode typically consists of a skit, an interview with the guest of the day, a music quiz and a review of some product sent them by "QQ Branch".

The show premiered on InterFM (Tokyo 76.1 MHz/ Yokohama 76.5 MHz) Sunday July 1st, and was broadcast every Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

There are four different regular segments on the show, each episode typically featuring 3 of them. Below are details on each of those main segments.

Welcome, Day Care Worker

Guests are welcomed by the cast and they introduce themselves to the audience. Various questions and dialogs about the guest are discussed in this introductory segment. The segment allows listeners to get to know the personality of the guest. This segment is used in every regular episode.

Rocket Gang Knowledge Checkup

Nyarth quizzes Musashi and Kojiro in their knowledge of Pokémon songs. He'll play a few second of an opening or ending theme, then have the other two try to name the song title.

QQ Branch Testing Corner

The Rocket Gang "QQ Branch" sends the trio a new item or product, and they review it on air, while posting pictures of the items to their Twitter account.

Pokémon Knowledge Checkup

Each member of the trio draw a picture of a Pokémon in 30 seconds, and the others try guessing which Pokémon it is. The pictures get posted to the Twitter account during the show.

Pokémon Radio Show! Rocket Gang Secret Empire Secret Live (Pokémon Radio Show! ロケット団ひみつ帝国」 シークレットライブ) Event

Pokémon Radio Show! Secret Live (Pokémon Radio Show! ロケット団ひみつ帝国」 シークレットライブ) was announced on the Animate website. The event took place on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at the Grande Shibuya. The Rocket Gang Japanese voice actors: Megumi Hayashibara (Musashi), Shinichiro Miki (Kojiro) and Inuko Inuyama (Nyarth) were in attendance and performing in character. A screen was be put in front of them as they did their performance to obscure the audiences view though.

Tickets were limited to those that receive one in the mail after a raffle lottery was completed. To enter the lottery, people needed to pre-order a copy of one of the four Pokémon Radio Show CD's from February 15th, 2013 until March 5th, 2013. Those that pre-ordered received an entry form at the time of purchase to fill out and mail into the following address.

Pokemon Radio Show! Rocket Gang Secret Empire Live Show Application

Tickets were only valid for the person that applied for the ticket and could not be transferred and event staff had the right to refuse a ticket holder entrance to the event if they believed that it was fraudulently transferred. Recording devices such as a camera and camcorder were not allowed at the event to prevent recording but the event was recorded by event staff.
