Players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet once again have the chance to face Cinderace who cannot normally be encountered in Paldea.

Face a Mighty Cinderace!

Catch a Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark! Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark has returned to black crystal Tera Raid Battles to commemorate 2023—the Year of the Rabbit! You can try scoring a win against Cinderace from Friday, January 13, 2023, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 23:59 UTC.

Cinderace cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Cinderace appearing during this event has Fighting as its Tera Type, making it a formidable foe—it even has the Mightiest Mark to prove it! Work together with your friends to trip up this powerful Tera Pokémon!

This special Cinderace can be caught only once per save data. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Cinderace to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught it.

This Cinderace may be featured in future events or become obtainable through other methods.

Strong Foes Make Powerful Allies in the Battle against Cinderace!

During this event, you may encounter Gengar and Gyarados in 4-star and 5-star Tera Raid Battles. The Tera Types of these Gengar and Gyarados will vary, and if you catch them, they’ll make powerful teammates in the battle against Cinderace with the Mightiest Mark!

Event Schedule

Friday, January 13, 2023, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 23:59 UTC.

Cinderace will have the same mark, Ability, and moves regardless of when it is caught during the event.
