Fans will soon have an opportunity to obtain celebratory Pokémon TCG promo cards featuring award-winning artwork from the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024.

Earlier this year, we announced the winners of the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024, with the contest’s theme being “Magical Pokémon Moments.” Fans can add these award-winning artworks to their collection as Pokémon TCG promo cards by making a purchase at local retailers* or Pokémon Center** starting on February 21, 2025, while supplies last. Fans in Australia and New Zealand can only obtain these promo cards by making a purchase at local retailers.

This amazing trio of artwork can also be found as a participation gift at local Pokémon Day League celebrations in the United States and Canada on February 27, 2025, where fans will be celebrating the 29th anniversary of the Pokémon video games!* Use the event locator to find a Pokémon Day League celebration near you.


Kazuki Minami was awarded the grand prize for their depiction of the adorable Pikachu unwinding with a yawn and stretch on a bright sunny day. Acorviart made a splash in the Standard Card Illustration category with Feraligatr swimming by, submerged under the sun-dappled water. And Anderson rocked out with the award for Best ex Card Illustration, showcasing Toxtricity as a Pokémon ex, shocking and rocking its way out of the frame.
