A new costumed Pokémon will appear from Golden Lure Modules or from a Coin Bag during this event!

^This will be active from Saturday, July 4, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, July 31, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Event Bonuses

• 4× XP for catching Pokémon.
• 4× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
• Event-themed Pokémon appearing in the wild are more likely to be Shiny.
• Gimmighoul holding a 10th anniversary coin may have a Special Background!^
• When you use a Coin Bag during this event, you may encounter Shiny Gimmighoul—if you’re lucky!^

Wild Encounters

May encounter event-themed Pokémon in the wild, including Pikachu wearing a cake hat , Eevee wearing a party hat , Wurmple wearing a party hat , and more!

Paid Timed Research

For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Timed Research rewards include the following.

• One Super Incubator

• And more!

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins. Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Monday, July 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Venusaur - Evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) to get a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.

Charizard - Evolve Charmeleon (Charmander’s Evolution) to get a Charizard that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.

Blastoise - Evolve Wartortle (Squirtle’s Evolution) to get a Blastoise that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

Field Research Task Rewards
