The final Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl Movie, which was released in theaters in Japan on July 10th, 2010, has been announced for release on DVD. The Theatrical Edition Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl The Ruler of Illusions Zoroark (劇場版ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド・パール 幻影の覇者ゾロアーク) DVD will be released in Japan on December 17th, 2010 for the manufactures suggested retail price of 4,179yen. Also announced was a CD with the opening and ending themes from the upcoming anime series Best Wishes. [cd=206]TV Anime Pocket Monsters Best Wishes New Opening Theme 'Best Wishes!' / New Ending Theme 'Fanfare of the Heart' (TVアニメポケットモンスター ベストウィッシュ 「ベストウィッシュ!」/「心のファンファーレ」)[/cd] will be released on November 24th, 2010 for the manufactures suggested retail price of 1365yen. The CD will also include background tracks from the series.

Talk about over priced. Yet again there is no Bluray release of this movie. DVD is obsolete and if last years movie 12 DVD was any indication of the quality of their current DVD's, I definitely recommend people avoid purchasing this DVD. The lastest Pocket Monsters DVD's have featured poor video encoding and also include edge enhancement where none is needed.

I agree that the 12th movie DVD did not have good quality but I'm still excited to get the new CD. There aren't any new special features on the DVD either. It has been the same for the last couple of movies.

Speaking of Movie 12, it hasn't been released on DVD here yet! Anyways, If Movie 13 is dubbed and later released to DVD, i'll have better quality.
