The weekly sales company Media Create has released their annual report of video game sales in Japan and once again the Pokémon franchise took top spot for total video game sales. Pokémon Black and White were the highest selling Video Games in Japan in 2010 selling 4,494,106 combined copies. The games go on sale in North America on March 6th, 2011 and they are expected to sell quite well there.

The Pokémon Black and White beat out other very popular gaming franchises. Below is a list of the top 5 selling games in Japan from the Media Create report.
