The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon, will be distributed at the Pokémon Centers in Japan. To thank customers for their patronage during 2011, the Pokémon Centers will be offering the Shaymin as a Wi-Fi download for the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black and White from December 19th, 2011 until January 5th, 2012. Also, if players return to a Pokémon Center between January 1st, 2012 and January 15th, 2012 and show a Pokémon Center staff member the Shaymin in its Sky Forme, the staff member will give the player a special Shaymin thank you card.

Swiss gaming companies Softridge and Gamespot have announced that they will be distributing the Darkrai that has also been distributed recently in other European countries.

The official Pokémon website has also announced that Darkrai will be distributed in Spain from November 23rd, 2011 until December 31st, 2011 at participating Gamespot locations.
