Namco Bandai has announced a new arcade game called Pokémon Medal World (ポケモンメダルワールド). The game will be distributed to arcades throughout Japan. The game takes advantage of the popularity of the current Pokémon series in Japan, Pocket Monsters Best Wishes as animated characters from the show are used in the game. The arcade game is quite large, has multiple stations and is the same yellow color as Pikachu.


Up to four people can play the game simultaneously on one game station. Parents, grandparents and families can play together side by side. Players insert the coins into the arcade machine that they purchase separately.
