Official Nintendo distributor Maxsoft will be holding a Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 Launch Event on October 7th, 2012 at the Funan DigitaLife Mall Level 5 just outside Cawaii Koohii in Singapore. A Pokémon tournament will be held as part of the event. Below are the details.

To Participate:

• Players must pre-register at Maxsoft’s website. (A registration link will be up on 1st October, limited to 48pax)
• Players are to bring their SEALED Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 video game to register for the event at Level 5 Funan DigitaLife Mall before 12pm.
• At 1pm, players will start removing the seals to start the Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 video game together.
• There would be a 15 minutes break for every hour of gameplay.
• Trainers are strictly NOT allowed to trade from any other games, including neighbor’s Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 video game or even his/her own Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version video game.

Rules for Competition:

• This competition will be using the Triple Battle format.
• The Wonder Launcher may be used.
• Players may use Pokémon found in the Pokémon Black 2 Version or Pokémon White 2 Version, including Genesect (Unova Dex #300)

Pokémon information:

• All Pokémon will automatically become Level 50 during battles.
• A player's team may consist more than one of the same Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number.
• Pokémon may only use moves learned by one of these methods: Leveling up, TM or HM, As an Egg Move – Via breeding, From a character in the game
• Already known by a Pokémon received at an official Pokémon event or promotion

Items:

• Each Pokémon on a player’s team may use held items
• All items must have been acquired in Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2
• BATTLES and Results Tracking: Battles will be conducted in 4 rounds of Swiss (battles); Trainers will be paired in teams; No one will be battling against someone whom they have already fought.

Random checks will be conducted throughout the competition. Anyone caught with illegal Pokémon will be disqualified immediately.
