Nintendo has announced their launch day festivities for amiibo, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U for North America. The New York City Nintendo Store will be holding a Triple Launch Event on November 20th, 2014 until November 21st, 2014. Nintendo Canada will be hosting Nintendo Day and a Countdown Event on November 20th, 2014 until November 21st, 2014.

New York City Nintendo Store - Triple Launch Event

November 20th, 9PM - November 21st 9PM - Purchase amiibo, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire early at our 24 hour triple launch event! Gift with purchase and other surprises are in store while supplies last.

Toronto Countdown Event

Join Nintendo on November 20th from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the York Street Bridge, between Union Station and the Skywalk to celebrate the countdown to Nintendo Day!

Play or battle against others on the new Super Smash Bros. for Wii U – both onsite and on the main stage. Experience all the new features of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire or check out the full line up of amiibo live!

There will be giveaways and prizing onsite (while supplies last), as well as plenty of photo opportunities and visits from Mario and Luigi!

Attend the event dressed up as your favourite Nintendo character for your chance to win additional giveaways throughout the evening! Don’t miss your chance to celebrate this historic day with Nintendo.

Nintendo Day Canada

The day everyone has been waiting for! Come and help us celebrate the launch of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and amiibo! We’ll be holding parties across Canada at Best Buy, Future Shop, and Toys R Us. The Nintendo team will be on hand to give everyone a chance to try the games plus we’ll have TONS of giveaways* over the course of the day.
