Four limited edition Nintendo 2DS's will be released in Japan Saturday February 27th, 2016. Pre-orders begin on December 26th, 2015 and those that order one of the sets at a Pokémon Center can also get a special Art Book featuring Pokémon cries from the games. The Nintendo 2DS box art and case coloring match that of the original games Pocket Monsters Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.

Mew Serial Code Distribution

Players that purchase a digital copy of Pocket Monsters Red, Green, Blue or Yellow from the Nintendo eShop from Saturday February 27th, 2016 through Tuesday February 28th, 2017 will receive a serial code to unlock Mew as a present. Players can redeem the code in Pocket Monsters X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire from Saturday February 27th, 2016 through Friday March 31st, 2017.
