On October 3rd, 2016, it was announced that a new playable character would be announced for the arcade version of Pokkén Tournament. Today, during a stream on NicoNico, hosted by Haruka Ishida, Yuka Nakanishi and Cotton Taro with special guest Hoshino Masaaki from Namco Bandai Studio, it was revealed that Scizor will be added to the game.
