Niantic has announced that the Pokémon GO Community Day on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time will feature Bulbasaur.

Community Day Classic: Back to Bulbasaur

Trainers, Return to the roots of Community Day during the Season of Heritage! As a special treat, we’ll be holding Community Day Classic and bringing back a favorite: Bulbasaur!

Bulbasaur will be appearing more frequently in the wild!

Exclusive Attack

Evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.


Venusaur: Venusaur will be able to learn the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. Frenzy Plant:

• Trainer Battles: 100 Power
• Gyms and raids: 100 Power

Community Day Special Research Story: Bulbasaur Community Day Classic

• For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Bulbasaur Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story: Bulbasaur Community Day Classic.
