Milotic helped Wallace make his amazing entrance to the Wallace Cup in the Sinnoh region.
Wallace's Milotic battled against Ash's Pikachu in the middle of the street in Lilycove City during the time that Ash Ketchum was participating in the Pokémon World Championships competition. Most of the battle was not shown but Wallace's Milotic was defeated and he gave Ash Ketchum a Rain Badge.
