Summary
Ash's battle on the rock field has already begun. Each trainer has only one Pokémon left. The red trainer chooses Nidorino. Pikachu is ready to battle, but Ash chooses Squirtle instead. Nidorino starts the battle off with a Tackle. Squirtle dodges the attack by withdrawing into its shell and rolling. Squirtle rolls up a curved rock and into the air. It uses Water Gun, sending Nidorino into a rock. Finally, Squirtle uses Skull Bash which knocks out Nidorino. Ash is declared the winner. The fans cheer wildly, and Ash cheers too. Gary doesn't like Ash's attitude because he acts like he won the whole competition.

Team Rocket has fallen into the trash cans. James has a plan on how they can capture Pikachu. Misty walks in the room. Brock is busy feeding the Pokémon. Ash went somewhere to get something to eat. Misty wonders why Ash didn't bring his Pokémon to the Pokémon Center. They will be worn out by the next battle. Togepi is hungry too. Squirtle shares its food with Togepi. Ash walks down the road looking for a restaurant he saw earlier. Since he can't find it, he will have to look somewhere else. They pass a movie called "Pokémon In Love". Misty and Brock, who's carrying Ash's Pokéballs, runs up to Ash. Misty scolds Ash for forgetting about healing his Pokémon. She says that he can eat later.

While they are walking to the Pokémon Center, Ash tells his friends that he will be battling on the ice field next. Ash assumes that the trainer will be using Ice type Pokémon. When they arrive at the Pokémon Center, Ash and co. sees a large group forming around the entrance. Nurse Joy makes an announcement that their Pokémon Center is full. She says that trainers who need their Pokémon healed should take their Pokémon to another Pokémon Center. Ash sees an "All You Can Eat" restaurant. He walks in and stares at the delicious food. Ash checks his pockets and has no money. A woman comes up and lets Ash eat for free. Ash thinks that the woman is a big fan of his battling. Ash piles his plate full of food. Misty walks in the restaurant. She sits down by Ash. She tells Ash that everyone gets to eat for free. Pikachu sees Togepi pulling on a tablecloth. Silverware comes close to the edge. Pikachu dives in to save Togepi as the silverware falls down. It was a close one, but the silverware misses Pikachu. Misty tells Togepi not to get into trouble.

When Ash is done eating, they go to the place where they are suppose to meet Brock. They see a lot of Officer Jennys blowing their whistles. Nurse Joys are helping people too. Brock is admiring all the Jennys and Joys. He begins to go crazy. Ash and Misty arrive at another Pokémon Center. Unfortunately, there is a long line. Ash sees a person waving an arm at them. Ash and Misty goes to see who waved at them. James, in disguise, tells them that he knows another Pokémon Center that isn't crowded at all. Brock appears. Brock is driving Misty crazy. James leads them to a strange looking Pokémon Center. Ash and Misty notice that it doesn't look like the other Pokémon Centers. James tells them that it is only a temporary one for the competition. James leads them inside. He takes Pikachu for treatment. At the counter is a Nurse Joy. However, Brock doesn't go through one of his "stages" this time. Ash and co. says the words "prepare" and "trouble" which makes Jessie and James go crazy. They take off their costumes. Brock knew that there wasn't a real Nurse Joy.

The Pokémon Center opens up, and Team Rocket's balloon is revealed. They have captured Pikachu again. Brock sends out Onix. Onix brings the balloon back down. Ash gets Pikachu back, and Onix sends Team Rocket flying. Ash thanks Brock for saving Pikachu. An announcement is made that Pokémon Centers are now accepting new Pokémon. Ash gets there as fast as he can.

The next day, Ash's battle in the Ice field has already begun. Each trainer has only two Pokémon left. Ash is using Kingler, and the trainer is using Cloyster. Kingler uses Crabhammer, and Cloyster uses Withdraw. Kingler hits Cloyster several times. Ash is worried that Kingler might get worn out. Misty and Brock tells Ash that Cloyster should be receiving some damage. Kingler continues to hammer away at Cloyster. Cloyster's shell cracks. Kingler wins the round. The trainer recalls back Cloyster and sends out Arcanine. Ash thinks this battle will be easy because Kingler is a water Pokémon. Kingler uses Bubble, but Arcanine dodges the attack. Then Arcanine uses Dragon Rage. The powerful twister hits Kingler. Kingler is too weak to battle. Ash recalls Kingler back and he chooses Pikachu. Pikachu uses Agility which confuses Arcanine. Arcanine then uses Fire Blast. More fire begins to destroy the whole battlefield. All that is left are two icebergs. Brock tells Ash to have Pikachu dive in the water. Pikachu dives in the water. It uses Thunderbolt which knocks out Arcanine. Ash wins the battle. The crowd cheers and Ash hugs Pikachu.

They set up a Pokémon Center of their own and when Ash drops off his Pokeballs, they grab them and run!
