Summary
It's been a great start to the day for our heroes Pokémon as they all have decided to play in the ocean. Piplup and Buneary swim underwater, while Pikachu, Chimchar and Ambipom play with a Master Ball colored beach ball. As usual Brock's Croagunk is taking it easy in a beach balloon while Swinub, Sudowoodo and Happiny rest and relax in a raft while floating around.

Under the shining sun, Piplup and Buoysel start to test their speed in the ocean. All the Pokémon begin to cheer as the two water Pokémon race against each other to see who is the fastest. Moments later Meowth and Rocket Gang's Pokémon show up at the beach line. With a surf board in hand, Meowth explains that he is "Going to catch the Big Wave and become a Legend!". Meowth's explanation is cut short after he see's the brats Pokémon playing in the water.

Buoysel manages to win the race, devastating Piplup in the process. Meowth and the other Team Rocket Pokémon quickly swim towards Pikachu and the brats Pokémon as they all begin to scramble for the play space. Meowth instructs Yanmega to use Silver Wind but it is countered by Piplup's Whirlpool which ends up creating a huge water spout which tosses all the Pokémon far away.

The Pokémon all land on a Wailord and Meowth devises a plan to use the raft to get away. Pikachu quickly notices his plan and joins him in the raft. Suddenly all the Pokémon get in the raft causing Meowth to tell Seviper to use Haze. The Haze causes Wailord to blow water out of its blowhole which was right under all the Pokémon. They are all blasted off once again, only to return to earth and be frozen by an icy wind.

Lost on a frozen isle, the Pokémon see a high peak that they decide to climb up to see where they are. Pachirisu is first up the peak but was going so fast that it overshot the top and flung itself into the distance. Staravia quickly goes after it before another icy wind blasts the other Pokémon and sends them all in different directions.

Pikachu pull a Spheal and a Snorunt out the snow thinking it was Piplup. Surprised to see it wasn't Piplup, Pikachu begins talking to Spheal and Snorunt about their situation. Spheal and a Snorunt indicate there is a Pokémon that might be able to help them with their problem. Moments later, Pikachu's group of Pokémon arrive at a big ice door. The door opens to reveals that Solrock is behind it. It melts the snow in the surrounding areas to reveal an Ice Castle in the distance.

Piplup's group, Meowth's group and Staravia all see the castle appear and they all decide to go to it. All reunited again, the Pokémon enter the Ice Castle to see a Abomasnow and a Froslass battling each other. Their ice statues have been damaged and they both think each other was responsible. The Pokémon tell Abomasnow and Froslass that they are able to help and Buneary uses Ice Beam on the statues to fix the crack while Turtwig uses Razor Leaf to smooth out the edges again. With Abomasnow and Froslass happy to see their statues in good condition again, everyone is drawn to the window to see Croagunk jump through it on its ice board and demolish both statues completely.

Pikachu and friends decide to make up for the destroyed statues by going outside and carving gigantic sized statues in a nearby ice mount. All the Pokémon participate by using their attacks to help carve out the statues. Meowth also made replacement statues but they were super small, but the effort didn't go unnoticed.

Having made new sculptures again, the Pokémon build a boat made out of ice and sail off. A little while later the Pokémon can see the beach that they were playing on. Gliscor who had been practicing flying was on a hilltop and could see his friends approaching on what was now a small iceberg. Eager to be reunited with his friends, Gliscor jumps off the cliff and attempts to fly towards them, only to crash into them. Now back at the beach, the Pokémon continue their fun day together.

Like all the other shorts, this was a fun and simplistic way to watch the anime. Unlike previous years the narrator wasn't completely on drugs and his role was kept to a minimum compared to the other ANA shorts. It's funny to see some of the previous evolutions still since this episode is technically a year old. The ANA plane while Mukubird was flying was an interesting plug.
