Nintendo Japan has announced that the Wii Room Channel (Wiiの間) will be updated on November 21st. The update will allow viewers to watch content on their Nintendo Wii on demand.

Star Entertainment Earth, Inc., Asmik Ace Entertainment Inc., Walt Disney Japan Ltd., NHK Enterprises Ltd., Sesame Workshop, Asahi Corporation,
Toei Co., Ltd., Nippon Television Network Corporation, Howcast Media Inc.,
Bonus Ltd., Pokémon Company, Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Warner Entertainment Japan Co., Ltd. have all agreed to provide content on the channel.

Content will be individually priced and available to watch for a limited time. It appears that some of the original series Pocket Monsters anime episodes will be available on the service.

Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life airs November 6th in Australia.

Two events were announced on the official Japanese Pokemon website today. The first event, beginning November 11th, 2009 and ending on November 23rd, 2009, a Mew will be available to download via Mystery Gift over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Players will need a Japanese copy of HeartGold or SoulSilver in order to receive the Pokemon. Mew is Level 5 and has a Premier Ribbon. The only move it knows is Pound (はたく). Beginning January 29th, 2010 and ending on February 11th, 2010, players of the Japanese version of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl & Platinum will also be able to download Mew.

The second event, Latios and Latias will be available for capture in HeartGold and SoulSilver as players will have the opportunity to receive the Enigma Crystal (なぞのすいしょう) also via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. It will be available from November 27th, 2009 to January 11th, 2010 for the Japanese versions of the game only.

Arceus can be yours this November! Rusutsu Resort located in Abuta-gun, Hokkaido, Japan has once again announced a new Pokémon event area for the winter season. Pokémon Kids Snow Park (ポケモンキッズスノーパーク) is a kids friends ski area where children can have fun with Pokémon.

It was also announced that a Pokémon Center Rusutsu branch (ポケモンセンター ルスツ) will open from December 23rd 2009 to January 17th 2010 and will sell Pokémon related goods.

Recently Rica Matsumoto and the staff of Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl (ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド＆パール) celebrated the 3rd anniversary of the show with a party. A special cake was commissioned that had the logo of the show on it. Rica Matsumoto posted some pictures of the event on her official blog.

Two New Mail W Events Announced

According to Amazon.fr, the French DVD of Movie 12 will be released on December 11th, a few days before the Japanese version of the DVD. "Pokémon, vol. 12 : arceus à la conquête de l'espace-temps" seems to be the translated title many French sites have been using.

Amazon.fr is generally pretty good about release dates though. The Arceus DVD was added to the database at the same time as the latest French Battle Dimension DVD's with their cover art and they will be released on December 1st but no cover art was added for the Arceus DVD.

A new preview for the Galaxy Gang special set to air in Japan in November was shown at the end of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl episodes 145 and 146 on Thursday.

In it, various details in the special was revealed. This included:

-The Galaxy Gang hiring Pokémon Hunter J to capture the Pokémon of the Lake Trio.

-Handsome and Satoshi and friends investigating.

-Shirona appearing to help Satoshi and friends in their battle against the Galaxy Gang.

-Dialga and Palkia appearing at the Spear Pillar, and being controlled via the Red Chains.

-The Pokemon of the Lake Trio battling alongside Satoshi and friends against Dialga and Palkia.
