It is clearly evident that his is a full frame scan as the DVD version is cropped left, top and right. The Remastered version seems to have lost some at the bottom though.

Ghosting from the DVD encoding process is now gone in the remastered version

Frames that had black gunk transfer issues, be it through the original telecine process or tape or whatever caused it, have been removed from the remastered version. Appears a slight crop to the bottom of the frames in the remastered version helped with this issue

DVD Upscaled Frame
691200px = 960x720 (Remastered)
662592px = 928x714 (DVD upscaled to match Remastered)

A direct frame line up from the DVD upscale to match the remastered version gives approximately 4.1% more picture on left, top and right but a loss of 12064px - 928x13 on the bottom in the remastered is cropped off that was in the DVD version. (12480px 960x13 at the remastered frame resized resolution. A full frame resize that included the cropped out portion would probably make the cropped portion about 960x9)

Portion cropped from bottom of frame.

If it was a full frame remastering, an extra 2.5% to the overall video frame would have been added.
