Scoot is a low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines and they have announced that they have partnered with The Pokémon Company to be a part of the Pokémon Air Adventures initiative. The Pikachu Jet they will use is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 375 seats. One-way flights on the plane will be available from Singapore to Tokyo which start at $333 SGD as well as from Singapore to Seoul, which start at $231 SGD.

Pikachu Jet TR

The white background with the petals and leaves fluttering comfortably throughout the design on Scoot’s Pikachu Jet TR is inspired by flower scents. Pikachu, Pichu, Shaymin, Psyduck, Lapras, Celebi and Meganium are depicted on the fuselage. There are also Pokémon hiding on both sides of the wings, so please try to look for them when boarding. They will go on many adventures with us all around the world, from the garden city of Singapore to other countries in the Scoot network!

Pokémon Air Adventures Experience

On Board: From specially designed Pikachu Jet themed cups and serviettes to other onboard amenities, you’ll feel thoroughly immersed in the world of Pokémon on these flights. Pikachu Jet TR takes to the skies soon!

The Pokémon Company has started a collaboration with Scoot, an airline company from Singapore, and will be launching a special plane decorated with your favorite Pokémon characters soon. The special plane, "Pikachu Jet TR", is scheduled for its inaugural flight on SEP 9 to Tokyo, Japan. The "TR" in Pikachu Jet TR is the airline code used by Scoot.

The two parties unveiled the exclusive livery for the Pikachu Jet TR at a press conference held in Singapore Changi Airport earlier today. As part of its exterior design, the aeroplane features Pokémon-related imagery specifically custom-made for Singapore. The Pikachu Jet TR, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 375 seats, will operate mainly in the Asia region including flights between Singapore, Tokyo and Seoul.

Following the grand unveiling of the Pikachu Jet TR, a special event, "Pikachu Weekend in Singapore", will be held from NOV 18 to 20. The event will feature a night show held at Marina Bay, alongside an exciting Pokémon GO event, "Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore", which will be held at Gardens By The Bay.


During the period of NOV 18 to 20, the "Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore" event, which is the special event from "Pokémon GO" will be offered all around Singapore. Come to the main site at Gardens by the Bay to maximize your enjoyment, where Maractus will appear in the game. For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Purrloin—if you’re lucky!

Also, Pikachu wearing a purple T-shirt (Flower), will be appearing in the wild from November 2022 for over one year to celebrate this event. If you are able to travel and get the chance to visit Singapore, you can try looking for one!
