Featured Pokémon

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Snom—if you’re lucky! You may encounter Snom when you complete GO Pass tasks. You may also hatch Snom from Eggs. You’ll also have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Ponyta, Slugma, Snover, and Vanillite!

You may encounter event-themed Pokémon in the wild, including Vulpix Shiny Icon, Alolan Vulpix Shiny Icon, Growlithe Shiny Icon, Swinub Shiny Icon, Snorunt Shiny Icon, and more!

GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe

A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards. Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Summer Marathon on Tuesday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Monday, August 10, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

For US$4.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass that offers upgraded rewards and faster progression.

For US$6.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks to also automatically earn enough GO Points to reach Rank 7.

While progressing through the GO Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

Pokémon UNITE announced today that Pokémon UNITE will not be part of the Pokémon World Championships 2027. A separate tournament, the Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo will be held instead. Pokémon UNITE has been plagued by unbalanced gameplay that has made viewership numbers low.

Pokémon UNITE Championship Series Update

We have decided that Pokémon UNITE will not be part of the Pokémon World Championships 2027, scheduled for 2027, and will instead hold a separate tournament, Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo.

Rewards

When a season ends, you can receive rewards based on the rank you reached or the placement you achieved.​ ​​You must finish at least one match with a win or loss during the season to be eligible for rewards. ​

What Are Ranked Battles?

In Ranked Battles, you can face off against other Trainers from around the world in the Single Battle or Double Battle format. Each season is a new chance to compete!

You’ll move up or down through the ranks based on the number of wins and losses you accumulate. If you reach the Master Ball Tier, you’ll then compete with your fellow Trainers for your final placement, which is based on your rating.

What Are Battle Passes and Premium Battle Passes?

A new Battle Pass will be available each season. By increasing the level of your Battle Pass, you’ll be able to earn various rewards. You can raise the level of a Battle Pass by taking part in Ranked Battles and competitions to obtain Season Points.

Purchasing a Premium Battle Pass lets you receive additional rewards when the level of your Battle Pass increases. A Premium Battle Pass will expire at the end of its corresponding season. When the next season begins, you can purchase a new Premium Battle Pass.

Rewards that are identical to items you already have in your inventory may be converted to VP.

Ranked Battles Season 14 is coming soon to the Z-A Battle Club! This season is for the birds...as well as everything else that flies. Decide the ruler of the skies in this special season featuring Flying-type Pokémon!

Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite stones are returning as promotion rewards for Rank Y through Rank S, respectively.

Useful items for training your Pokémon are waiting! You’ll be able to join the action by launching your game, pressing the X Button to open the main menu, selecting Link Play, and then selecting Ranked Battles.

• The Mega Stones obtainable as promotion rewards during this season are planned to be redistributed in future seasons.
• It is possible to have no more than one of each kind of Mega Stone. If you already have a certain kind of Mega Stone, you will be unable to receive another.
• Pokémon that Mega Evolve using Mega Stones obtained as Ranked Battles rewards do not count toward the completion of the Mega Evolution Pokédex.
• Your rank will not decrease during the season. When a new season begins, your rank will reset to Rank Z.
• After you reach a certain point in the story, Mega Shards can be traded at Quasartico Inc. in exchange for certain other Mega Stones.

What Are Ranked Battles?

Ranked Battles in Pokémon Legends: Z-A are online matches that test your real-time battling skills against other Trainers around the world. You’ll earn points based on your placement in these four-player battles—earn enough points, and you’ll be promoted to the next rank. You will start off at Rank Z and can compete to climb the ranks all the way to the ultimate Rank A.

Launch attacks from places your opponents don’t expect or sweep through groups of opponents as you lead your partner Pokémon to victory by making full use of a variety of moves.​ Check out our Ranked Battles Startup Guide for more information on how to earn points, along with other gameplay tips.

7. Intentionally manipulating wins and losses by using multiple devices or sets of save data (or collaborating with others to do so)
8. Other actions that operation hosts determine to be inappropriate
