Iwata Asks - Gates to Infinity
Description:
The October 2012 Corocoro revealed the game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinths (ポケモン不思議のダンジョン マグナゲートと∞迷宮). The game is in full 3D unlike the previous games in the series. The player can choose either Pikachu, Mijumaru, Kibago, Tsutarja or Pokabu at the beginning of the game. There is also an Augmented Reality feature that allows players to scan in real life objects which are then converted into Magnagates in the game which unlocks new options in the game. The game was released on November 23rd, 2012 and it retailed in Japan for 4800yen. The digital download version was also available off the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop for 4800yen.
Like the previous games, the player is transformed into a Pokémon and they start off in the main village of Pokémon Paradise.

You will have the choice to play as Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, or Axew. On your journey through this amazing world, you will also choose a partner who will always be at your side!
Dungeon Exploration
Most of your time playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will be spent in vast dungeons full of Pokémon! The dungeons can be dangerous, but there are many rewards that await those who explore their depths. If you can get all the way through a dungeon, great rewards may be yours. But if you get knocked out, you may have to return all the way to the entrance of the dungeon and lose some of your items and money, too!
Poké Forest DLC (ポケの森)
Starting on November 23rd, 2012 until December 31st, 2012, players will be able to download an extra dungeon off of the Nintendo eShop/Nintendo Network called
Poké Forest (ポケの森). The DLC costs 150yen. The dungeon has players going through the level as they attempt to collect as much money has possible without waking any of the sleeping Pokémon. Players can play this dungeon at any point in the game.
PrePaid Card
Participating 7/11 stores and Pokémon Centers in Japan will begin selling Pre-Paid Nintendo eShop cards that are branded with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinths on them. The cards are for 1000yen can can be used to purchase the Poké Forest DLC or for any other games and content on the Nintendo eShop.

Official Guide Book
The official Japanese Pokémon website also revealed the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinths Official Guide Book (ポケモン不思議のダンジョン ~マグナゲートと∞迷宮~ 公式ガイドブック). The book will go on sale November 23rd, 2012 for 1260yen. The book is 288 pages, is printed on A5 sized paper and has an ISBN number of 978-4-906866-02-1. The book covers various aspects of the game including Pokémon data, skills, strategy and is easy to understand even for beginners.

TSUTAYA Campaign
Participating TSUTAYA locations are hosting a Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinths campaign where players can bring in their Nintendo 3DS and do a dungeon quiz. Players that answers all the questions correctly will be given a
menko set (TSUTAYAでDS オリジナルめんこセット) as a present that features the main Pokémon characters in the game while supplies last.
The campaign Dungeon Quiz (ダンジョンクイズ) will be available via local wireless from November 8th, 2012 until November 22nd, 2012.
