Information about Characters and Officers:

The game takes place in the Ranse Region, where "officers", people possessing specials bonds with Pokémon, fight over supreme control of the 17 provinces that make up the region. The protagonist, as the officer leader of Hajime Province, becomes involved in the unfolding war of the many strong leaders, led by Nobunaga, who seek to cause the downfall of Ranse.

Many armies are placed throughout the 17 provinces of Ranse, fighting over their castles. Furthermore, each of the 17 provinces is deeply tied to a single Pokémon type, Hajime Province having strong ties to the Normal Type.

Officers + Pokémon

Officers make Pokémon their partners. Pokémon and officers share a bond called a "link"; if their link is strong, they will be able to draw out each others powers. The link has a maximum limit deterined through the compatability of officer and Pokémon, so discovering the "Best Link Pokémon", the one they are 100% linked to, is one of the things officers aim for.

What are "officer leaders"?

Officers are lead by officer leaders. These are officers possessing notably large power. The game begins with the protagonist becoming officer leader of Hajime Province.

	TAKEDA SHINGEN + GROUDON (シンゲン＋グラードン)	Shingen is a man possessing a strong and daring personality. It will not be easy to make him acknowledge your power, but it would be highly reassuring if you could get him on your side.
	UESUGI KENSHIN + MEWTWO (ケンシン＋ミュウツー)	Kenshin is a fair and truthful man. It will not be easy to make him acknowledge your power, but it would be highly reassuring if you could get him on your side.
	TOYOTOMI HIDEYOSHI + MOUKAZARU (ヒデヨシ＋モウカザル)	The officer leader of Kaen Province. He specializes in Fire Pokémon. He shows a peculiar interest in searching for mythical Pokémon.
	MORI MOTONARI + JANOVY (モトナリ＋ジャノビー)	The officer leader of Aoba Province. He specializes in Grass Pokémon. He does not care much for the current war.
	CHOSOKABE MOTOCHIKA + FUTACHIMARU (モトチカ＋フタチマル)	The officer leader of Izumi Province. He specializes in Water Pokémon. He's a decent man fiercely opposed to the current situation.
	ISHIDA MITSUNARI + KOMATANA (ミツナリ＋コマタナ)	Mitsunari always acts in conjunction with Masanori and Kiyomasa. He gives the protagonist advice, but what is his true intentions!?
