Ribbons (リボン)

XY saw a major revamp to the game's ribbon system, with many of the ribbons exclusive to older games being removed and replaced with "memorial ribbons". Just like in the 3rd and 4th generation, ribbons can now be obtained in-game again.

	Best Friends Ribbon なかよしリボン	A Ribbon that can be given to a Pokémon with which you share a close and meaningful bond. 深い絆で結ばれたポケモンに贈られるリボン	Show the Pokémon to Eureka when its Affection is maxed out.
	Training Ribbon しゅぎょうリボン	A Ribbon that can be given to a Pokémon that has overcome rigorous trials and training. 過酷な試練を乗り越えたポケモンに贈られるリボン	Show the Pokémon to the woman in Cafe Ultimate after it has acquired a gold medal in every Super Training regimen.
	Skillful Battler Ribbon グレートバトルリボン	A Ribbon that can be given to a Pokémon that has achieved victory in difficult battles. 厳しい戦いを勝ち抜いたポケモンに贈られるリボン	Have the Pokémon in your team and defeat a Battle Chatelaine in the 20th battle in a normal rule Battle House challenge.
	Expert Battler Ribbon マスターバトルリボン	A Ribbon that can be given to a brave Pokémon that has honed its battle skills to an art. 戦いを極めたつわもののポケモンに贈られるリボン	Have the Pokémon in your team and defeat a Battle Chatelaine in the 50th battle in a super rule Battle House challenge.
	Effort Ribbon がんばリボン	A Ribbon awarded for being an exceptionally hard worker. たくさん努力しているポケモンに贈られるリボン	Show the Pokémon to the man in the Pokémon Fan Club after it has acquired 510 total base stat points.
	Alert Ribbon しゃっきリボン	A Ribbon for recalling an invigorating event that created life energy. しゃっきりするできごとを思い出して人生のエネルギーとなるリボン	Have the Pokémon at the front of your party and talk to the maid present in Hotel Kojin on Mondays.
	Shock Ribbon どっきリボン	A Ribbon for recalling a thrilling event that made life more exciting. どきどきした事柄を思い出して人生をわくわくさせてくれるリボン	Have the Pokémon at the front of your party and talk to the maid present in Hotel Koboku on Tuesdays.

Replaces all contest-related ribbons on such Pokémon. A number indicates how many ribbons it replaced, the gold version is awarded if the number is 40.
	Battle Memory Ribbon おもいでバトルリボン	A commemorative Ribbon representing all of the Ribbons you collected in far-off lands for battling. 遠くの地方で集めたリボン 戦いの思い出がつまっている！	Not available in X/Y, the Pokémon must come from a gen 3 or 4 game.
