Lulu helps her parents runs a berry farm near Suiren Town in the Sinnoh region. The day Ash and his friends visited the farm, Lulu's papa and mama were out buying new berry seeds and weren't going to return for two or three days. Lulu invited Ash and his friends to stay the night at her house. Dawn's Pochama found Lulu's Maril attractive and tried to impress it until a wild Elekid intervened. Maril was captured by Team Rocket as they were spotted by Maril attempting to steal berries from the farm. Pochama and the wild Elekid managed to help rescue Maril from Team Rocket.
