Noa works as a waitress on Melemele Island where they serve Alola Pancakes as the specialty. She won the annual Pokémon Pancake Race the year before Ash arrived on the island. She was on the poster for the race and Ash recognized her and he asked her to teach him about the race.

She spent some time after lunch helping Ash Ketchum and Ash's Pikachu learn the rules to the race. She then entered the race with her Raichu and ended up tying for second with Ash and Pikachu. She planned to enter the race again next year.

For the wedding between Professor Burnet and Professor Kukui, she was asked to make some special Alolan pancakes.

Nina's Husband was a regular customer to Nina's restaurant, enough so that they fell in love and got married.
