An Arbok belonging to the Instructor at the Pokémon League entrance exam. Arbok was randomly choosen by Ash and he used it to battle the Instructor's Jolteon Jolteon was paralyzed by Arbok's Glare attack but Ash made a mistake when he attempted to use wrap on Jolteon with its spikey mane. Jolteon used Thunder on Arbok and Ash was forced to switch to Meowth.
